300 years of American art at the Museum of Fine Arts of China from February
The exhibition “Art of the United States: 300 Years of Innovation” will be presented from February 10 to April 5 at the Museum of Fine Arts of China in Beijing. This is the first major exhibition held in China which offers a panorama of American art. Some 130 pieces dating from colonial times to the late 17th century to the 21st century have been collected.
Filed chronologically, each of the 6 themes presented is illustrated with works representative of their era. In addition to the founders of American portraits and landscapes of the American West, the exhibition also allows the public to have a retrospective of the industrial revolution and technological advances of the 19th century and discover the contemporary American art: abstract art , Pop art, video and multimedia.

展览“艺术美国：300年创新”将于二月十日至四月五日在北京美术馆的中国艺术。这是首个大型展览在中国举行，它所提供的美国艺术全景。约130件，从殖民时代可追溯到17世纪后期到21世纪已全部收回。
