China launched the second national census of agriculture
China on Monday launched its second national census of agriculture, raising over 7 million enumerators.
The State Bureau of Statistics (NBS) revealed that the registration of 200 million households in over 30 000 municipalities would last a month.
The national census, held between January and April 2007, for details of families and businesses engaged in agriculture, environmental situation in rural areas, agricultural land use, investments in capitaux fixes dans l’agriculture, les emplois dans les régions rurales et la qualité de vie des paysans.
