China hopes that talks will resume before the Lunar New Year
China hopes that talks on the nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula will resume before Chinese Lunar New Year, which falls this year in mid-February, said in Beijing Thursday, Chinese State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan at a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Song Min-soon.
Participants in six-party talks on the nuclear issue on the Korean peninsula are China, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, the United States, the Republic of Korea, Japan and Russia.
