The frozen food prepared for the eve of Lunar New Year will compete for customers
Several supermarkets in the city of Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang Province in East China, rely on food prepared for the eve of Lunar New Year and will compete for customers by offering “frozen foods”.
This kind of “food” is actually prepared meals and packaged, respectively, then put in a big box of gift card after sustained freezing. Customers simply reheat them in microwave oven or in water in order to eat an hour later.
