The young Chinese prefer to have fun while surfing on Internet

The survey showed that 81% of respondents surfed the Internet during their free time rather than watch TV or read books. Entertainment change and youth rely increasingly on the Internet.
The survey showed that 43% of respondents did not reserve time especially for reading books, only 21% read before bed and 12% reserved for reading their toilets.
A report published earlier this year by the Center for Research on Youth of China has shown that young Chinese read less and less, the downward trend continued having five consecutive years.
The survey also indicates that young people pay attention to the quality of their free time. Some 37% have one to three hours off per day on average, 36% three to five hours and 18% over five hours.
